Alvin Lee Romero Obituary The Idaho Daily Statesman Boise, Idaho Wednesday Morning, April 13, 1966 Services for Alvin Lee Romero, 73, 2723 Fargo, who died Monday afternoon at a Boise hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Summers Chapel with the Rev. Thomas J. Blackburn, officiating. Interment will follow at Dry Creek. Born July 1, 1892, at Mt. Pleasant, Utah, he was the son of Andrew. and Hanna Mortenson Romero. He came to Soda Springs in 1915 and married Alda M. James Jan. 5, 1941, at Pocatello. He operated a plumbing shop at Rupert and later was employed by the federal government at Farragut, Chandler, Ariz., Hanford, Wash., and Fairbanks, Alaska where he retired in 1957. They moved to Payette in May 1957, living on Star Route, and came to Boise 14 months ago. Surviving him besides his wife are three sons, David, Idaho Falls, Ray, Montpelier, and Byron, Provo, Utah; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Pendry, Montpelier; a stepson, Warren Bogle, Kooskia; a sister, Mrs. Faunda Bybee, Soda Springs; five brothers, James and Victor Romero, both of Soda Springs, Forrest Romero, Tulsa, Okla., and Ervin and Kenneth Romero, addresses unknown; four stepgrandsons, and a number of grandchildren.
