Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Tue, 6 Jan 1998, page A2, Obituaries, Mary Vaughn Mary Lee Vaughn, 81, of Greenville died Sunday at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Arnold and Rev. Louise Welch officiating. Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery. She was born in Campbell on Nov. 24, 1916 to Anderson D. Ethridge and Lillie White. She married Willard C. Vaughn in Sulphur Springs on Feb. 11, 1941. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Campbell United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Leslie Dean Vaughn of Garland; a brother, Sam Ethridge of Greenville; a sister, Myrtle Ethridge of Greenville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by hr husband in 1987; a daughter, Linda Sue Vaughn in 1956; brothers J.D. Ethridge and Willis Ethridge; a sister, Thelma Frazier and half-brothers Roy Graham and Ernest Graham. Pallbearers will be Sean Vaughn, Jason Hamilton, David Frazier, A.J. Frazier, G.E. Vaughn and A.D. Ethridge. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
