Melvin Bert Bennett Jr. 1934 - 2013 Melvin Bert Bennett, Jr, age 78, passed away May 21, 2013, in American Fork, Utah. Born July 10, 1934, in Alpine, Utah, to Melvin Bert and Elizabeth Hannah Miller Bennett. He married Gloria Street on December 27, 1969, in American Fork. Melvin worked at Tooele Army Depot for 30 years. He was one of the original members of the Cavaliers Car Club in American Fork. He is survived by his children: Jodi Rae Ramage, Melvin Bert (Jennifer) Bennett III, Wendy (Lawrence) Hollis, Pamela (Steven) Phelps; six grandchildren; his sisters: Lois, Pat, Lyn, Shelley; and a brother, Max. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; his parents and a brother, Gary.
