Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Apr. 2, 1981 Kocian Rites Funeral services for Mr. Inoc J. Kocian, 69 of Gonzales, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the St. James Catholic curch, with interment to follow in the St. James Catholic cemetery. The Rev. Edward Bily will officiate and a rosary will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales. Mr. Kocian was born June 27, 1911 in Lavaca county, the son of Joe and Janie Kutac Kocian and he died last night in the Nix Hospital in San Antonio. A former resident of Moulton, he removed to Gonzales 20 years ago. He married Tracy Okrulik on Oct. 11, 1937 and was a member of the K.J.T. St. Vinsislav Society and the St. James Catholic church for 20 years. He is survived by his wife; a son, James Kocian of Gonzales; a step-daughter, Donna Marie Kocian; four brothers, Jerome of Flatonia, Joe of Houston, Willie of Ganado and August of Kerrville; a step-grandson and a step-granddaughter and five step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
