Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Aug. 7, 1975 Mary Kapavik Rites Friday Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the St. James church for Mary Theresa Kapavik, five month old infant daughter of Ernest and Ruby Pavlica Kapavik, who died in the Holmes Community Hospital at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Edward Bily, pastor of St. James, will officiate at the service and also at the Rosary service to be recited at the Seydler-Hill chapel at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The body will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. for the services. Burial will be in St. James cemetery. The infant was born February 28, in Gonzales. Survivors are her parents of Route 2; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pavlica, Gonzales, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kapavik of West; three brothers, David, Ernest Fred and Larry Kapavik, all of Gonzales; seven sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Anita) Dement, Josie, Katy, Betty Jean, Ernestine, Lori, and Carrie Kapavik, all of Gonzales. The family asks that those who desire, make memorials to the Holmes Community Hospital in place of flowers. The body will lie in state at the residence on the Harwood Road until time for the Rosary.
