Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, August 14, 1986, Page 8, Column 2 Services Here For Dick Bruha Richard (Dick) Albin Bruha was born October 25, 1959 in Ord, Nebraska to Albin and Alice Kirby Bruha and died August 9, 1986 near Loup City, Nebraska from injuries sustained in a truck/pedestrian accident. He was 26 years of age. Dick grew up on the family farm and attended District #29 school. He was graduated from Ord High School in 1979. He worked at Ord Manufacturing until it closed down. He was then employed by North Loup Irrigation District. On June 19, 1982 he was married to Rose Patrick. Survivors include his parents, Albin and Alice Bruha; three brothers, David of Ord, Kent of Grand Island, and Galen at home; two sisters, Karen Welton of Elyria and Angie Novak of Ord; his grandparents, Stanley and Bessie Bruha of Burwell and Chet and Anna Kirby of Ord; and one nephew. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 12 at the Evangelical Free Church in Ord with Pastor Dennis Ritchey officiating. Burial was in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery.
