Urbanovsky of Elyria were held on Saturday, January 26, 1980 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with Father Stanley Gorak officiating...Burial was in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery with Ord Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements. Joseph William Urbanovsky was born on May 27, 1915 in Greelay County, Nebraska to John and Anna Psota Urbanovsky, and died on January 24, 1980 at his farm home in Valley County at the age of 64. Joseph was raised in Farfield County and attended Lone Star country school in Garfield County from which he graduated in 1937. He was united in marriage to Helen Bruha at Ord. They lived on a farm in Garfield County. Helen died in 1938. On Dec. 26, 1939 he was married to Mary Bruha in Ord. After they were married they lived for two years on a farm in Garfield County. They then moved to Valley County, south of Burwell, and lived on a couple different farms before moving to their present farm in 1950. Joseph was a member of the District 49 school board, a supervisor of roads of Eureka township for a number of years and was on the election board of Eureka township. He was a member of the Western Fraternal Life Association. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Elyria; one son, Stanley R. of Burwell; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Olga) Michalski and Mrs. Paul (Blanche) Wadas, both of Burwell; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mathew (Olga) Foral of Columbus; and numberous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Helen; one infant son, one grandson, Eddie Urbanovsky, and one brother, Adolf.
