~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Acknowledgement to Washington County Genealogical Society for the following obituary) SERVICES ARE ON TUESDAY FOR CARRIE JENSEN Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at First Congregational Church for Carrie Ellen Jensen, 91, who died June 19, 1982, at Crowell Memorial Home. The Rev. K.F. Kaleuati and the Rev. Moreland Adell will conduct the service. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery. Carrie Ellen Jensen was born September 14, 1890, at Blair to Emmet and Mary Jane Rosenbaum Bolt. She graduated from the Blair School system and taught school for seven years. She married Chris E. Jensen on March 21, 1915, in Blair. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Congregational Church. She had lived at Crowell Home for the last seven years. Three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Enid) Kempcke, Blair; and one son, Don E. Jensen, Fort Collins, Colorado. Two sisters, Helen Bolt and Mrs. Frank Wilson, both of Blair; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive her. Pallbearers are Chris E. Jensen,II, Steven Jensen, Mark W. Iversen, G. Philip Kempcke, Paul F. Kempcke, and H. Daniel Thompson. William J. Bolt, Jr., James Gutschow, Arthur Kempcke, Howard Kubie and Howard D. Thompson are honorary pallbearers.
