Services for Alva Banks Ivy, 82, of Huntington, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Bro. Herbert George and Bro. Lamar Denby officiating. Burial will follow at the Oddfellow Cemetery in Huntington. Mrs. Ivy was born January 28, 1915 in Liberty and died May 11, 1997 in Lufkin. Survivors: sons, Daniel Merritt, Rex Bradford, Richard Keith; brothers, Joe M. and M. C. Luckey; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-great-grandchildren.
