One census says he was born in Tennesse. Washington does not show up after the 1870 census of Molino, Escambia County, Florida. It is not known if he died in Escambia County, Florida or came to Rosinton, in Baldwin County, Alabama with some of his children... Burial location of Washington Allen and wife Mary unknown. It is assumed they could be buried in either Vaugh Cemetery at Molino, Florida (where daughter Mary Josephine Allen Fleming is buried) or at Old Cooper's Cemetery at Rosinton, Alabama (where daughter Lena Allen Cooper-Lowell is buried).
