Byron Cooper McGalliard **Veteran - Served with Honor** February 15, 1918 - April 28, 2013 Byron McGalliard, Lovingly known as "Paw Daddy", 95 passed away April 28, 2013. He was born in Ore City, Texas February 15, 1918 to Millard and Bertha McGalliard. Byron proudly served his country in the Army. Byron is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nona McGalliard Smith, brothers Carl A. McGalliard, Millard Mack McGalliard Jr. (June); wives Ruth Wright McGalliard, Helon Gene Rogers McGalliard; daughter Fern McGalliard Beebe, Grandchildren Harold Byrom, Carol Byrom, great-great grandson Cason Collingsworth. Byron is survived by son Jimmie Lloyd McGalliard & wife Nita, daughters Nancy Byrom, Joyce Holloway, Berta Truesdell (Morris), Pat Barrett, Pam Close, 17 grandchildren - Denise Spalding, Lisa Willingham, Steven Byrom, Jana Brockett, Darla Collingsworth, Penni Burt, Stephanie Mitchell, Basil Holloway, Sheri Brewer, Chip Beebe, Andrea Stephens, Eddie Beebe, Tina Beebe, Monty McGonagill, Kristi Barrett, Byron Fulton, Alvie Fulton, 47 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday May 1, 2013 6-8 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday May 2, 2013 10 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home with interment following at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
