John Oliver Barnett YOAKUM — John Oliver Barnett 78 died Saturday at 5:30 a.m. in a local hospital after a long illness. Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home with the Rev. R.B. Lear and the Rev. Leonard Kaffka officiating Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Sarah J. Barnett of Yoakum: five daughters; Mrs. Lucille Wells of Prattville, Ala., Mrs. Gladys Miller of Victoria, Mrs. Irene Bardin of Lubbock, Mrs. Courine Blackwall of Cuero and Mrs. Maurine Gaertner of Yoakum; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. John Tomblinson of Levelland and Mrs. David Hess of Hermleigh, Texas.
