Bio

Mary Ann Edie also known as Edi Eddy, and Eadie was born to James and Mary Edi in Methven in Perthshire, Scotland. She married John Beat in 1850. It is not known if they knew each other in Scotland, but both immigrated to the U S in the 1840's and their family farms were close to one another.
