Bio

Herald Coaster, December 22, 1963: Funeral services for Eugene B. Burke, 69, of Richmond, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Garmany and Co. Chapel in Rosenberg. Rev. Wade O. Skinner officiated. Mr. Burke passed away suddenly in his home Wednesday evening. He was the owner-operator of a kennel and milk goat dairy west of Richmond. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Burke of Richmond; a son, Bill Burke of Richmond; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bingham of Elsa and Mrs. Coreene Whittle of Austin; ten grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lola Cranford of Lexington, Nebraska. Burial was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany and Co. Funeral Directors.
