Gazette Telegraph Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1986 page B2:5 Ruth Rozetta Schneider Ruth Rozetta Schneider, 58, of Colorado Springs died at home Monday after a long illness. She was a homemaker and formerly conducted a day-care center. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday in Sunset Chapel Mortuary, 3825 Airport Road, with the Rev. W.J. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 am to 7 pm today and 9 am to noon Thursday at the mortuary. Mrs. Schneider was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Phippsburg, Colo., and lived in Colorado Springs since 1943. Her parents were the late Frank and Zelma (Thurman) Hillhouse. She was a member of Mountain View Wesleyan Church. She was married June 26, 1948, in Colorado Springs to Laverne Schneider, who died in July 1975. She is survived by a son, Eugene, and daughter, Carol Baughman, both of Colorado Springs; four brothers, Delmar, Marion and Andrew Hillhouse, all of Colorado Springs, and John Hillhouse of Watsonville, Calif.; two sisters, Vera Ralston of Colorado Springs and Mary Myrick of Portland Ore.; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, 809 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs 80903. - HEE *************************************************************
