BETTY OWEN Betty J. Owen, 66, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, in a local hospital. Mrs. Owen was born March 3, 1934, in Austin. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Clarence Owen Jr. of Texarkana; two sons, Walter Owen of Texarkana and Lance Owen of Wylie, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Flynn of Kingwood, Texas, Trina Kight of Texarkana and Jena Brown of Fort Collins, Colo.; three brothers, Paul Sangalli of Wake Village, Texas, James Sangalli of Texarkana and Robert Sangalli of Little Rock; and nine grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. today at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Phillip A. Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. The family will be at 614 Beech St.
