Obituary Christ Goltz Passes Away On Thanksgiving Day At His Home Here Christ Goltz, son of John and Caroline Goltz, was born in Russia on July 9, 1984 . He came to America in 1911 and lived at Leola, S.D. for a time. Later he homesteaded land in Isabel, S.D. He came to Wyoming in 1930 and settled in the Torrington community. On September 1, 1927 he was married to Catherine Zulauf at DuPree, S.D To this union four children were born, one of whom, a son, died at birth. Mr. Goltz united with the Lutheran Church some years ago and remained in that faith all the rest of his life. He had been in ill health for the past two years and unable to work. He died at his home on West Highway at 4 p.m. on November 28, 1946, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 19 days. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Goltz and three daughters all of Torrington, Lorraine, Ramona and Betty Goltz; two step daughters, Mrs. Pauline Hickey, of Topeka, Kans., and Mrs. Lillian Samsel, of Watervile, Kans.; three stepsons, Fred Zulauf, of Greeley, Colo., Edwin Zulauf, of Halfway, Mo., and Benjamin Zulauf, of Torrington; three sisters all living in Constanza, Romania; five step-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Colyer Mortuary with Rev. Ralph Snyder officiating. Burial in Valley View Cemetery. Torrington Wyoming. Plott; N3 NW4 L3 B53 S17
