He passed away November 24, 2011. He was born June 10, 1945, in Rains County, to Bill and Jessie Gowin Brimer. He served in the Air Force, was a mechanic, farmer, minister, and worked as a supervisor at Hollywood Candy, Sulphur Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tina Darlene Brimer; brothers, Cleburne Brimer, R.G. Brimer, and A.L. Brimer; and sister, Vernell Briggs. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Idell Brimer, Emory; son, Jimmy Brimer, Sulphur Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Greg Aguilar, Emory; foster daughter, Ramona Griggs, MI; brothers, Billy Brimer, Emory, and Marvin Brimer, St. Jo; sisters, Winona Morrow, Wills Point, and Juanice Martin, Rains County; eight grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
