Bio
Orville's parents were Orville Leo Ratley, Sr and Nancy Stanley. His mother died October 31, 1944. Orville then lived with his grandmother, Susan Elizabeth Arnold-Roberts Stanley Kincaid, until her death in 1957. Orville lived with his uncle and aunt, Charles and Adele Robinson Stanley, in Jonesboro, Jackson Parish, Louisiana, until he finished high school in 1959. He then joined the USAF. Orville never married. He is buried in the National Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
