John Robert "Bob" Kelly, 74, of St. Paul died Friday, April 12, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Bob was born August 18, 1938 in Greeley to John J. and Gertrude Ellen (Casey) Kelly. Bob graduated in 1956 from Sacred Heart Academy. Bob held many positions in his various careers. He was a bank examiner for the State of Nebraska for 20 years. He was a pilot and owned a custom hay business. He was owner-operator of Kelly's Luxury Liner of Kearney, NE. Bob lived in Las Vegas and worked for the State of Nevada. He retired as a DOT officer for the State of Utah. Since retirement in 2001, Bob has enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and especially time with his family. Bob is survived by: former wife, Marjorie (Hrebec) Buresh of North Bend, NE.; children, Bob and his wife Cindy Kelly of Kearney, NE. and Sherry Clinebell and her husband Ted of Sumer, NE.; wife, Emily (Ashdown) Kelly of St. Paul, NE.; stepsons, Mike and Angela Adams of Rochester, WA., Cade and Naomi Adams of McGill, NV. and C.B. (Yvette) Tillery of Ely, NV.; brother, Charles Kelly and his wife Lori of Las Vegas, NV.; sisters, Mary Ellen and Art Peck of Salt Lake City, UT. and Eileen and Chuck Viator of Iowa Park, TX.; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Leo and Gerald Kelly and daughter, Rita Kelly. As he requested, he will be laid to rest with a family graveside service in the Kearney Cemetery, Kearney, NE. with his daughter, Rita Kelly.
