Doris Kohutek, 84, of Big Lake, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Reagan County Care Center. Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 8, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Doris was born in Taylor, Texas, to the late Victor and Anna (Kneblik) Sladek. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. On July 30, 1947, Doris married Johnny Kohutek in Rowena, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, on July 13, 2004; sons, Steven and Patrick Kohutek; and sister, Joyce. Survivors include her sons, Blake Kohutek and wife, Susie, of Big Lake, Mark Kohutek, of Midland, and David Kohutek and wife, Becky, of Big Lake; daughter, Becky MacGregar, of Big Lake; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; daughters-in-law, Bonnie Kohutek, of Miles, and Carol Kohutek, of San Angelo; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
