Bio

Funeral services for Edwin R. Burival, age 94, of O'Neill, will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill with burial in the O'Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with an 8 PM Rosary. He passed away Saturday (April 10th) at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or to St. Mary's School. He is survived by two daughters: Nina Sorensen of Page, and Marilyn Zahradnicek and husband Melvin of Atkinson, two sons: Larry Burival and wife Diana of O'Neill and Gary Burival and wife Joyce of O'Neill, and 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He was born June 10, 1915 at O'Neill, Nebraska to Henry and Ludmilla (Pollock) Burival. He married Orletha Holz on May 16, 1938 at Burke, South Dakota and she passed away July 28, 2008. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic in O'Neill. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife,a son,a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, two great granddaughters, two sisters and six brothers. Rev. Francis Nigli is officiating.
