Real estate & bank broker Death Claims Former Official of City Bank--T H White, 79, pioneer Oklahoma businessman, financier and former director of Fidelity National Bank, died Friday morning after a lengthy illness, at his home 308 NW 25. White, during his 38 year business career which ended in retirement in 1940, owned several merchantile stores, and was president of a bond company. He was also a partner in a state agency for an automobile company, and was owner of a construction firm. In 1928 he became director of Fidelity National Bank and remained in that capacity for several years. He was born in 1876 in Ashland, AL. In 1902 White came to Oklahoma and settled in Mangum. For 5 years he was in the merchantile business, operating stores in Mangum, Mountain Park, Blair and Carnegie. In 1917 he came to OKC and was president of the T W White Bond Co for nine years. He later was a partner in Morgan-White Studebaker agency and was owner of Western Construction Co. White was a Mason and a Shriner and belonged to St Luke's Methodist Church. Services will be 2 pm Monday in Hahn-Cook funeral home. Interment will be in Fairlawn cemetery. White is survived by his wife, Stella M, of the home; a son, Jack B White and a grandson, T R White, both of 908 NW 48; a daughter, Mrs., J Vincent Tully, of 516 NW 40.
