Thanks to contributor #47247306; Cecilia Torczon Zoucha, 74, of 856 Third avenue, died unexpectedly this morning at her home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic church, with Rev F. Miles Kowskle officiating, and burial will be in St. Bonaventure cemetery. The body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Monday at McKown funeral Home where Rosary will be prayed by the St. Theresa Sodality and at 8 pm by the parish. She was born Nov. 8, 1889, at Tarnov, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Augustyn Torczon, and attended school there. On Oct. 18, 1905, she was married to Joe E. Zoucha at Tarnov. They farmed in the Humphrey vicinity until 1944, when they retired and moved to Columbus. Mrs. Zoucha was a member of St. Anthony's church and St. Theresa Sodality and was affiliated with the Third Order. She is survived by her husband, five sons; Al of Tarnov, Mike of Grand Island and Emil, Bernard and Les, all of Columbus; eight daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mamie) Kuta of Tarnov, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Cloos of Cayuta, NY. Mrs. Thomas(Hildegarde) Sullivan of Omaha, Mrs. Francis (Dorothy) Mausbach of St. Edward, Mrs. Glenn (Irene) Sheridan of Monroe, Mrs. Clarence (Marcella) Krzycki, Mrs. Wencer (Eleanor) Krzycki and Mrs. Don (Mildred) Mausbach of Columbus; 29 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Zoucha was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, seven sisters and two brothers.
