Anne Prososki, 63, of Silver Creek, Nebraska, died Sunday, June 14, 1992 at St. Francis Hospice Center in Grand Island, Nebraska. Mrs. Prososki was born April 12, 1929 at Omaha to Joseph and Apolonia (Kozak) Sobczyk. She grew up and attended Omaha schools, graduating from Omaha South. She attended Cosmetology School in Columbus. On September 13, 1947 she married Ted Prososki at Omaha. They resided there from 1947 to 1950 before moving to Fullerton where they lived on a farm near Silver Creek. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Silver Creek for several years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Fullerton, St. Ann's Altar Society, Goldenrod Extension Club, and was a 4-H leader. Survivors include her husband, Ted; one son, Kenneth of Fullerton; two daughters: Juanita (Mrs. Randy) Kohler of Napa, California, and Margaret (Mrs. James) Pearson of Montgomery, Alabama; nine grandchildren; three brothers; John Sobczyk, Stanley Sobczyk and Ed Sobczyk, all of Omaha; and two sisters: Berniece (Mrs. Murice) Golden of Santa Rosa California, and Josie Bosiljevac of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Bernadette; and one sister, Mary Vetick. Contributor: Linda Berney (47343179)
