The Courier-Gazette McKinney, Texas Friday, July 11, 1952 p8 col 2 Graveside Rites Are Planned For Charlie M'Kinney ----------- Graveside rites will be held Saturday afternoon at Forest Grove Cemetery for Charlie E. McKinney, native of Collin County, who passed away at Bowie Thursday. The deceased was a cousin of Giles McKinney and J. S. McKinney of this city. His wife was the former Miss Maude Hunter, sister of the late Dr. J. E. Hunter. He was reared in the Forest Grove and Lucas communities. The deceased is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Howell of Irving, and a sister, Mrs. T. B. Spurgin of McKinney. Two grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Christian Church in Bowie Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with burial at Forest Grove at 3 in the afternoon. Burgess Funeral Home of McKinney, assisting.
