The Columbus Telegram Friday March 20, 1970 Stanley Stach, 51, dies in Detroit; rites here Monday Stanley Stach, 51, of Detroit, Mich., former resident of the Columbus area, died Wednesday evening in a Detroit hospital. He had been in failing health the past lew years. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday al Sl. Anthony's Catholic Church in Columbus, with Fr. Armand Lubanski officiating, and burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. The body is to lie in state after 1 p.m. Sunday at McKown Funeral Home, where rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. He was born May 2, 1918, near Tarnov, the son ol Adam and Julia Kiolbasa Stach, and attended St. Michael School at Tarnov. Mr. Stach hed been a resident of Detroit since 1941, where he was employed by the Chrysler Motor Corporation. Surviving are his mother: three brothers, Frank Stach of Humphrey, Leo of Monroe and Michael of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Stella) Tomasiewicz of Humphrey and Mrs. Joseph (Angeline) Krings of Columbus; 11 nephews and a niece. His father died in 1943.
