Son of Adam & Julia (Kiolbasa) Stach. Married to Marie C. Kula. The Columbus Telegram Jan 2, 1998 ST. EDWARD - Leo Stach, 89, of St. Edward, formerly of Monroe, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Revs. Edward Gill and Mark Tomasiewiez officiating. Burial is at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. today at the church with a 3 p.m. parish rosary. Mr. Stach was born April 30, 1908, at St. John's Community in rural Platte County to Adam and Julia (Kiolbasa) Stach. He attended St. Michael's School in Tarnov. He married Marie Kula Jan. 23, 1934, in Krakow. He farmed in Platte County. He entered Cloverlodge Care Center in July 1994. He was a member of the church. Survivors include one brother, Frank Stach of Humphrey; and one sister, Angeline (Joe) Krings of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife Feb. 17, 1992; two brothers; and one sister. The Hasch-Patrick Funeral Home of Genoa is in charge of arrangements.
