Father: Jefferson Heaston Mother: Jennie Britt ========================= The Muncie Star, Monday, December 30, 1968, page 2 Frances (Frankie) Heaston Carpenter, 83, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Maxyne Payton, Altamonte Springs, Fla. Mrs. Carpenter was a switchboard operator at Daleville for 25 years until that position was eliminated. She had also resided in Greensfork. Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Ollie Sutton, Muncie; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ballard and Shirey Funeral Home in Daleville with Rev. Roger Wrigley officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 -4 and 7-9 p.m.
