Father: Charles Gressley Mother: Eva Spouse: Walter Mattox Marriage: Aug. 1, 1923 Sargent, Nebraska Ada Mattox, 77, Caldwell, died Saturday, Nov. 6, at a Caldwell hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1905 at Gibbon, Neb., to Charles and Eva Gressley. Her early years were spent near Sargent, Neb., where she met and later married Walter Mattox on Aug. 1, 1923. They continued to live in Nebraska until 1936 when they moved to Idaho. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in August. She is survived by her husband, Walter of Caldwell; three sons, Norman, Gerald and Marlin all of Caldwell; five daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Darlene) Wilson, Caldwell, Mrs. Albert (Donna) Gestrin, Donnelly, Mrs. Ward (Evelyn) Beavers, Caldwell, Mrs. George (Mary) Beavers, Caldwell, and Mrs. Terry (Anita) Dietrich, Boise; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; one brother Kenneth Gressley, Buhl; two sisters, Mrs. Ted (Wauneta) Franklin, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Harold (Mary) Cuckler, Wheat Ridge, Co., and many nieces and nephews.
