Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lott Cemetery for Rev. N. A. (Chap) Lott, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack Monday afternoon at the Hattiesburg Savings and Loan Assn. office on East Front St. A Baptist minister in this area for many years, Reverend Lott had lived at 300 Thirty-eighth Ave. for the past four or five years but he moved to Sumrall about a month ago. At the time of his death he was pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church near Purvis. Reverend Lott's body will be taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. T. Sumrall of RFD 2 Sumrall, today. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Neavy Lott: five sons, Winnie, Winson and Willard, all of Sumrall, Toxey of Hattiesburg, and Arthur D. with the U.S. Army at Fort Eustis, Va.: two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Sumrall of RFD 2 Sumrall and Mrs. Gracie Lee Smith of Bradley, Ill.; and five sisters, Mrs. Dica Bryant of Brooklyn, Mrs. Ada Gore of Sumrall, Mrs. Minnie Kennard of Foxworth, Mrs. Etta Lott of Rawls Springs, and Mrs. Pearlie Lott of RFD 2 Sumrall. Hulett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Published in Hattiesburg American on April 6, 1954
