Husband: William Joseph Shivers Father: Pomp Powell Mother: Jessie (Speegle) Powell MRS. WILLIE SHIVERS DIED LAST NIGHT; RITES ON THURSDAY Mrs. Willie J. Shivers, 35, died at her home, 104 South Thirty-Fourth street, Tuesday night. Funeral services will be held from the Corley Chapel Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. A. L. Meador conducting the rites. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Surviving are her husband; four sons, Edward, Dan, Tommie and Homer Shivers, Corsicana; daughter, Willie B. Shivers, Corsicana; a brother, Talmadge Powell, Corsicana; a sister, Mrs. Alton Burnett, Corsicana, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be W. D. Ainsworth, Harvey Boone, Lucian Sparkman, Alen Burnett, Bealon Ware and Samuel Miller. Corsicana Daily Sun - Wednesday, December 13, 1944
