Thanks to Nareen for transferring Mittie's memorial to me. ***** "Wife, Mother, Grandmother" Obituary from Sharetta Miller: Mittie Mary McFerrin Wise, 95, died Monday, June 7, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Wise was born in Anna, Texas and attended school at the Academy in Westminster, Texas. In 1985, she moved from Westminster to Guymon. She was a member of Church of Christ. She married Melvin Olen Wise in 1930 at Durant. He died in 1932. Survivors include a daughter, Dora May Miller of Guymon; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society or Marshall, Minn., Church of Christ. Memorials will be accepted by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
