Zitek, 91, of Seward, formerly of Dwight, died Friday, March 11, 2005, in Milford. Services were Monday, March 14, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Seward. Burial was at Assumption Catholic Cemetery at Dwight. Mrs. Zitek was born June 11, 1913, near Dwight to John and Emma (Novak) Krska. She married Edward Zitek May 4, 1932, at Dwight. She was employed at Becton -Dickinson in Columbus for many year. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Fritz and Lucy Zitek of Staplehurst, Marvin and Mary Lee Zitek of Ulysses and Gene Zitek of Lincoln; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, George and Adaline Krska of Seward; half-brothers and wife, John Kobza of Columbus and Gilbert and Florence Kobza of Brainard; and half-sisters and husbands, Lillian Kobza and Rita Kobza, both of Seward and Henrietta and Bohumil Hain of Aurora and Dorothy and Joe Miriosvky of Brainard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three grandchildren. Arrangements by Volzke Mortuary, Seward.
