Issac Andrue 'Drue' Behringer Born in Whitney, Texas on Aug. 6, 1911 Departed on Feb. 27, 2005 and resided in Whitney, TX. Visitation: Monday Feb. 28, 2005 Service: Tuesday Mar. 1, 2005 Cemetery: Bethlehem Cemetery Drue Behringer passed away at a Hillsboro hospital on Febrary 27, 2005. He was the son of Ike and Minnie (Radke) Behringer and had lived in Whitney most of his life. He first married Anna Lee Hilliard and she preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his second wife, Zola Faye Berry. Drue had worked for Greyhound Bus Lines as a dispatcher and driver for 30 years; retiring in 1970. He was a member of Odd Fellows #178; Rebecca Lodge # 300 and a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Gene Edwin Peacock and wife, Betty of Piolt Point, Wriley Shelton Jr. of Fresno, CA, Margret DeHart of Whitney, Karen Worley of Whitney, Doug Harris and wife, Donna of Fort Worth, Richard Harris of Fresno, CA; several great nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and best friend, Verna Durham of Whitney. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery Association, PO Box 234, Whitney, TX 76692.
