Bio

Minnie Anne Minzenmayer, 89, of Ballinger passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger. Minnie was born on November 27, 1923 in Taylor, Texas, at home to Henry and Agnes Kuhl. She married Edgar Minzenmayer in Wuthrich Hill, Texas, and the young couple moved to Runnels County in 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Winters. Minnie was preceeded in death by her husband, a sister and eight brothers. She is survived by her children, Dennis Minzenmayer and wife Janet, of Rowena; Shirley Hambright and husband, Rodney, of Abilene; Michael Minzenmayer and wife Nancy of Ballinger, and Brian Minzenmayer and wife, Shamone, of San Angelo. Also surviving are six grandsons, John Minzenmayer and wife, Dora, Paul Minzenmayer and wife, Monica, Jason Hambright, Justin Minzenmayer and wife, Stephanie, Joshua Minzenmayer, and Kevin Minzenmayer, and one granddaughter, Kelsey Minzenmayer. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be David Kuhl, Hugh Campbell, Jerry Holle, Clay Earnshaw, Luther Minzenmayer, Henry Minzenmayer, George Pruser, and Lee Verbillion. Burial will take place in the Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are with Lange Funeral Home.
