Bio

Son of Andrew & Veronica (Swantek) Molcyk. Was residing at 526 E. 47th St., Kearney, NE. Grew up in Lindsay; graduated from Genoa High School, 1943 Military: U. S. Army during the Korean War, corporal in the military police. Married: Oct. 25, 1952 to Leora Ann Sasse in Lincoln. Worked on the family farm for six years; member of the Nebraska State Patrol, 1949-1962; moved to Kearney. 1962; was a claims adjuster for Shelter Insurance for 29 years, retired in 1991. Activities: member of the church and of Prairie Hills Golf Club; enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, boating, golfing, bowling and woodworking. Survivors include: wife; son, Robert of McCook; daughters, Kathryn Sweeney of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Barbara Voigt of Kearney; brother, Irvin of Melrose, Fla.; sisters, Cecila Tworek of Long Beach, Calif., and Rose of Lindsay; and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
