G. C. STERLING DIES RITES IN WESTMINSTER Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Westminster Methodist Church for Grover Cleveland Sterling, 83, retired farmer, who died Tuesday in a Sherman hospital. Rev. John Streun officiated, and burial was in the Van Alstyne cemetery, Fletcher Funeral Home directing. He was born in Alabama, May 5, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Sterling and was married Oct. 19, 1932, in Durant, Okla. to Clara Griffin Brinlee. Surviving is his wife, four daughters; Mrs. Patsy Pryor of Cannon; Mrs. Edith Johnson of Princeton; Mrs. Thelma Jo Durham of Whitewright and Mrs. Jewel Brown of Westminster; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
