Sherman Democrat Thursday, 23 December 1975 Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Retha Elizabeth Simpson, 78, of Lytle, Tex., who died Monday at San Antonio, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flesher Chapel here, conducted by Grady Langford, Church of Christ minister. Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Simpson was born in Texas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Allen. She was married to Leo Simpson on Dec. 5, 1915, at Van Alstyne. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving is her husband of Lytle; sons, Willie Simpson of San Antonio and C.J. Simpson of Lytle; brother, Roy Allen of Van Alstyne; sisters, Mrs. Faye Hill of Tom Bean and Mrs. Lois White of Van Alstyne; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
