Mary Violet Grund, age 86, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013. Mary was born on August 7, 1926, in Council Bluffs, to Lee and Fannie Ellison. She worked at Evans Laundry for over 28 years and is a member of Queen of Apostles Church. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank, on July 27, 1980; daughters, Teena Steinbach and Gail Shepard; sisters, Delia Janiceck and Minnie Witt; brothers, Frank and Harold Ellison. Survivors include daughters, Mary Staniford and husband, Roger, Linda Gilbert; sons, Frank Grund, Jr. and wife, Susan, David Grund and wife, Diane, all of Council Bluffs; 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
