Mary Lou Bly, of Neligh, NE., formerly of O'Neill, NE., passed away Sunday, February 24th, at the Gretna Care Center, Gretna, NE. Mary was born on November 29, 1928 in Plainview, NE., to Walter and Adaline (Homolka) Butts. Mary is survived by: Sons; Gale Bly and wife Pam, of Omaha, NE. and Dean Bly and wife Deanna, of Neligh, NE.; 5 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Sisters; Mardell Hoerle, of Chambers, NE. and Ethel Jones, of Lexington, NE.; Brother, Jim Butts and wife Mary Lou, of O'Neill, NE. and a host of relatives and friends Mary graduated from Chambers (NE.) High School. Mary met Dwayne Bly and they were married June 5, 1949, in O'Neill, NE. He passed away on August 18, 2003. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, O'Neill, NE. Mary is preceded in death by: parents; husband, Dwayne Bly; and brother, Orin Butts. Interment was in The O'Neill Cemetery, O'Neill, NE.
