Bio
Adventurer, born in Ireland, served in English Army also in Union Army USA In Civil War, got out was married lived in Woburn, Massachussetts, settled into Leo Valley of Nebraska, then settled into Leaburg area of Oregon, where he died, John W. Currie Sr. stayed with his son John Jr. until he died, the son John died in 1925 in Eugene, Oregon, 2 years after the father. Only cemetery shown at Leaburg. In 1910 John Sr and Jr were listed as farming in North Loup, Nebraska so they moved to Leaburg after this date.Two of John Sr's grandchildren were with them in North Loup - Clifford Allen and Myrtle Allen according to 1910 federal census.
