Bio

Wife of Ora Elbert "Orrie" Clark (1876-1955). They were married on December 3, 1902 in Beaconsfield, Ringgold, Iowa. Marilla had been married previously to Fay Earnest Oliver (1881-1947). Marilla and Fay were married on November 8, 1900 in Ringgold Cuonty, Iowa. Marilla was the daughter of Joseph Lafayette Smith and Elizabeth (Bohall) Smith. Marilla was the mother of nine children with Ora Clark: Hoyt, Ruby, Roy, Ruth, Mary, Clyde Robert, Evelyn Rose, Joseph Boyd and Betty M. Clark. Grandmother of nineteen and great-grandmother of four. (Marilla's obituary appeared in the Omaha World Herald, January 21, 1958 on page 24.)
