Ray Allen Holtman, 71, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Saturday afternoon, February 16, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. He was born May 21, 1941 to Ben Henry and Annie Marie (Kahlig) Holtman on the family farm at Olfen. He went to school there and farmed in the area. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and had a great love for his community and people, never hesitating to help in any manner he could. Survivors include his first wife of 35 years, Jane Holtman of Ballinger; his second wife, Debbie Holtman of San Angelo; his children, Karen Evans and husband, Lamar of Sonora, Bonnie Holtman of Austin and Derek Holtman and wife, Becky of Lago Vista. His grandchildren, Kara Holtman, Nathan Holtman, Serena Holtman, Madison Evans and Damon Evans and his brother Wilfred Holtman and wife, Mary Ann also survive. Graveside service at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Olfen.
