DIGHTON - Asalee Filbert, 87, died Doc. 18, 1997, at Kennewick, Wash. She was born July 20, 1910, in Kaufman County, Texas, the daughter of John R. and Josie Morris Glenn. She attended school in Kaufman County, Texas. A longtime Lane County resident, she was a homemaker and assisted her husband in fanning. She moved to Kennewick in 1985. She belonged to United Methodist Church, Dighton. On March 26,1933, she married Carl Filbert at Little Rock, Ark. He died Aug. 18,1991. Survivors include: three sons, Robert, Kennewick, John, Corvnllis, Ore., and Kennord, John Duy, Ore.; a daughter, Dr. Sue Morgan, Middletown, Ohio; a sister, Suzi Calhoun, Kaufman, Texas; 16 randchildren; and several greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Charles Filbert; und a daughter, Karen Prose. Funeral will be a t 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Dighton, with t h e Rev. Tod Anthony presiding. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemeteiy. Memorials may be sent to the church in care of Boomhower Funeral Home, Dighton. Hutchinson News December 23, 1997
