"Funeral Services For Fred Strizek Funeral services for Fred Strizek, 62, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Ericson Funeral Home. Rev. Laurence Davis officiated. Mr. Strizek, who was born at Weston, lived on a farm near Valparaiso, at the time of his death which occurred on Monday. Musical selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" were sung at the services by Danny Lapour accompanied by Mrs. Alice Prokop. Pallbearers were Adolph Bohac, Frank Zetocha, Julius Zetocha, John Kliment, Herman Schmidt and R. E. Novak. Interment was made in the Sunrise Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Letitia; four children, Will, Violet, Raymond of Cedar Bluffs, and Mrs. Vanel Skalik of Dorchester; two sisters, Mrs. John Krchnavy of Gregory, South Dakota, and Mrs. Fanny Cook of Gillette, Wyoming, and five grandchildren." - Wahoo Wasp, Page 1; May 15, 1947 Contributor: Jeffrey J.
