Bio

Daughter of John M. & Agnes (Mostek) Tworek. She attended school St. Michael's School in Tarnov. She married Steve Lassek Jr. , January 12, 1931 at St. Michael's Church in Tarnov., Nebraska. They farmed in Nance and Platte Co. before moving to Columbus in 1957. She later worked for Dale Electronics until her retirement. Helen was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. She was a former member of 3rd Order of St. Francis. She was also past president of the residents council at Morys Haven and a member of Dale Electronics Retirement Group. Helen enjoyed praying the rosary. She is survived by: Daughter: Carolyn Lassek of Seattle, WA Son: Eugene J. (Dorothy) Lassek of Silver Creek, NE Son: Virgil C. (Rosemary) Lassek of Columbus, NE Daughter: Delores "Dee" (Jerome) Prososki of Columbus, NE Sister: Francis (Lawrence) Brandl of Columbus, NE Twelve Grandchildren and Twenty Great Grandchildren She was preceded by: Husband: Steve Lassek Jr. Father: John M.
