Bio

Survived by his son James Cuyler Garland. Dog in picture was named Mike. He died of a heart attack. Like to gamble. Owned a race horse named Sun Ivy. Won several races. Trainer stole the horse from him. He was the first officer to arrest Clyde Barrows. Clyde was 12 yrs old and Sammie got him for stealing a bicycle. He sold cars and had misc. jobs. He was put in jail for boot legging. Died at age 64 in Meth. Hosp in Dallas, TX. He use to own a parking lot.
