Stanislawa Lassek, daughter of William and Rosallie Mrozinski Lassek was born Oct. 14, 1880 at Columbus. On Feb. 9, 1898, she and John Zouha were married at Columbus. They made their farm at Richland where he was employed by the railroad. Later they moved to Genoa, where they farmed for twelve years. Wanting to move westward, they bough a ranch near Fullerton where they lived for a short time. Coming to Loup City on a farm east of town in 1918, they made their home until now. Following the death of Mr. Zouha in 1954, Mrs. Zouha had made here home with her sons and daughter until she had to be hospitalized. Survivors are her daughters, Mrs. Vince Grabowski of Loup City and Mrs. Andrew Grabowski of Ashton; three sons, John and Basiel of Loup City and Joe of Ravenna. NOTE: Of the 6 children of the union of Anastasia and John, only their son, Joseph, had children born. ~~~~~~~~~~ Note: In the obituary, the father's name is shown as 'William'. The Polish alternative would be 'Walenty', sometimes also seen as 'Valentine'.
