Birth year calculated from age at death. ''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), November 6, 1896, p. 5, col. 2 One day last week, a child of Jos. Jacup, who resides two and a half miles northeast of Brainard, met with a painful accident which resulted in death. The child, aged about 2½ years, was playing in a wagon out in the yard with some other children. The children got hold of some matches and set some straw that was in the wagon afire, and the clothes of the baby were ignited and it was so badly burned that it died the next day.
